What: Around the World Cooking Camp

When: June 10-13, 2013

Time: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Watch your kids expand their palate as they travel around the world experimenting with new flavors, ingredients and cooking methods!  Kids will learn to create healthy treats while developing social skills and new tastes for different foods.

What: Little Helpers Make Happy Campers Cooking Camp

When: June 3-5, 2013 

Time: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Kids will learn to add a twist to the regular camping trip menu with recipes they learn at camp!  Best of all, they'll share some useful camp cooking tips to make the camping trip more fun and exciting!

The Y will be CLOSED in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 27. 
We will reopen at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28.

 

Y Pre-School Graduation!

31 students and their parents, grandparents and friends celebrated their graduation from pre-school Wednesday, May 23, 2013, and are now Kindergarten bound.  They have mastered their ABC's, numbers, colors & arts, singing, and basic Kindergarten-readiness skills!  We are very proud of our Y kids, and know they will move mountains.  Watch out, world!

 Mountain Meadows Wool Mill

 

This is an Active Older Adults outing to an environmentally conscious wool mill whose mission is to create a company that will help sustain ranching in the Mountain West.  Come with us to learn how fiber is processed into wool products like yarns, quilt batts, felt and more.

When: Thursday, June 6, 2013 

Time: 12:15-4:00 p.m.

Cost: $10 per person
